Reading is a tool that permeates the steps of children, because when they are born, they read the world for the first time through family people, environment and character. This is the first contact with the world of literature and the path to the beautiful pre-literacy path, giving a test of reading.
Que Tal Levar A Leitura Para Um Cantinho Que Ninguém Pensou?
The activity consists of each child taking a doll, the group’s mascot Menino Jonas, to visit them at home. At home they chose their favorite place and got together to tell the story. Each child captured the momentous moment by submitting a family photo the next day, which was displayed on the reading wall.
Monsignor Jonas Abib is the creator of the Canção Nova system of communication and social work, including Canção Nova. Heir to the Salesian charism, he shows that education is about preparing the mind and heart, whose mission is to form good Christians and honest citizens through learning.

In order to revive children’s interest in books, the Maria da Luz Borges Municipal Preschool Education Center launched the “History in a Tent” project. To encourage a taste for reading, activities encourage playfulness, magic, discovery and storytelling.
The project came about because of the rich literary material that is available in the educational space. 30 specimens are selected from this to create an environment that is updated weekly. “Reading is the basis of a child’s development, and if it is done in a pleasant way, it is much easier to awaken the taste and attitude of an early age, listening to stories, making new discoveries through the world of imagination and With this the opportunity to visit the site chosen for this practice,” explains teacher Mônica Maria Tourinho Oldiges
The tent was self-constructed by professionals in a sustainable way and was made of recycled materials from the institution, resulting in a space to stimulate creativity in a welcoming and enjoyable way, for storytelling and book handling moments to take place and, finally , for children to develop a taste for ‘story time’.

After the diagnosis determined by the school team, we noticed the need to bring our students closer to the world of reading by presenting more extensive narrative texts to kindergarten classes and literacy students. A taste for reading comes from the possibility that children should be exposed to different genres of literature in their school life. In this project we will observe the reading of Sandra Aimone’s book “Galinha que could read”. The goal is to introduce the students to the world of literary culture as a form of pleasure, not as a duty. In this way, providing readings, textual productions, oral and written history retelling, dramatization, illustration and book production.
