Grace Bennett is a graduate student in Texas who works as a waitress with her best friend Emma Perkins to earn money to travel to Paris together after graduation. The girls manage to escape the hotel and go to the station to look for Riley, only to find that the train has already left. Meanwhile, Cordelia sees a picture in the newspaper showing her at a party with two girls and when she realizes her necklace is on fire, she calls the police.

The girls go back to the hotel to try to fix things and run into Riley, who is back to retrieve the necklace. Grace and her friends return the necklace to Cordelia, but she wants to tell the girl because she is pretending to be her. Emma and Meg try to reason with her but Cordelia doesn’t want to hear any reason so the girls tie her up and stop her from completing the sale.
